The "detector pads" can be placed on any flat surface with enough lead wire to place the module out of the target path where it can “tattle on you” or give you the confidence of knowing you are on target and ready to roll for real.

The "Target Zone Detector"© comes equipped with two "detector pads." Since you are not certain where you will be standing when you are playing, The 3 inch by 3 inch "detector pad" would be used when practicing from shorter distances, such as stick right or left, and the 5 inch by 5 inch "detector pad" would be used when practicing from great distances, such as at the end of the tables.
